If you ever write articles for a niche, you may
have heard of people monetizing them as they rank higher and
higher on Google's organic results.
Whenever I find a nicely converting keyword,
especially if it's in a niche I like, I want to maximize my profit
from it. So here's my basic little formula:
1. Record which keywords convert for whatever you
are promoting (whether your business, brand, or affiliate product)
2. Record all the good converting keywords, and do
a search on Google, and record how many organic (free) results are
competing for that keyword. Believe it or not, a lot of great
keywords get a good chunk of converting traffic and are a hidden
variation without much competition! For example, I've had articles
on keywords like "buying beagal puppy advice". Notice the
misspelling :) Now, this was something I tracked originally in
Adwords and took it further.
3. Write a few targeted articles with the keyword
in the title.
4. Submit them over and over to syndicated
directories of high PR, authoritative sites.
I like this method because you don't have to test
and tweak for more keywords to earn more income. Simply, take what
you have and just milk more from it.
Another trick you can use is to record through
Adwords reporting which misspellings give you conversions. Then
just write articles on those misspellings... lots of gold there!
Now, I'm no expert at article marketing, so if you
want to learn some free methods to monetize (double and even
triple) your income from certain keywords, then I highly recommend
you check out
Dylan's guide "Secret Article Profits". He shows you a lot of
the directories to go to to get the fastest results and even
reveals various niches.
Hope this helps everyone out.
